  • What brand is the fridge, and is the compressor humming or silent?
  • Whirlpool. It's humming, but nothing gets cold.
  • Give me a few minutes… This most probably looks like a defrost problem. Let me walk you through pricing.

We know how this feels

A broken appliance is never just a broken appliance.

It's the food, the time off work, the not knowing. We built FixAIro around the moments that go wrong when an appliance breaks.

It's 9 p.m. and the fridge is warm.

Dinner is off, and three hundred dollars of groceries are on a timer.

The walk-in is climbing a degree an hour.

Every hour it stays broken costs the restaurant more than the repair ever will.

Is it even worth fixing?

Nobody will give you a straight answer, so you can't make the decision.

The window was 8 to 12. It's 2.

Nobody called. You took the morning off work for nothing.

The bill came in at double the quote.

“Turned out it needed a part.” You had no way to check.

You explained it three times.

To the dispatcher, to the voicemail, and again to the technician at the door.

How it works

From broken to fixed, in four simple steps.

No hold music, no guessing, no surprises at the door.

  1. 1

    Call or message us.

Any time — night, weekend, holiday. Tell us what's wrong in your own words.

  2. 2

We work out the likely problem.

From the brand, the model, and what you tell us, we figure out what's most likely wrong before anyone drives out.

  3. 3

You get clear pricing up front.

A service call fee plus a labor range for the repair. Parts are priced separately. You approve the final price before any work starts — and if you go ahead with the repair, the service call fee is waived.

  4. 4

    A technician fixes it.

They arrive at the time you chose, confirm the problem, explain what they found, and fix it — usually in one visit. You can see them on the way.

Why FixAIro

The three things repair companies get wrong, fixed.

Nobody answers. The price changes. The technician doesn't show. We fixed all three.

The big one

Someone answers. Instantly.

No hold music, no voicemail, no “we’ll call you back.” Call at 2 a.m. on a Sunday and you still get an answer.

Clear pricing before any work.

A service call price and a labor range, quoted before the visit. What you approve is what you pay.

Fixed on the first visit.

We work out the likely problem before we come, so the repair usually gets done in one trip.

See your technician on the way.

A named technician, a real arrival time, live on a map. No four-hour windows.

Common problems we fix

If this sounds like your appliance, we've seen it before.

The problems people call us about most — and what they usually turn out to be. Describe what's happening and we'll tell you the likely cause before anyone drives out.

We repair refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, ovens and ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, and microwaves at home — and walk-in coolers, ice machines, commercial ranges, and commercial dishwashers for businesses.

At home

Fridge not cooling, but the freezer works

Usually a defrost problem or blocked airflow between the two. Often a quick fix.

Washer won't drain or spin

Usually a clogged drain pump or a worn lid switch.

Dryer runs but won't heat

Usually a heating element or thermal fuse — and a blocked vent is behind most of them.

Oven won't heat, or heats unevenly

Usually a bake element or a temperature sensor.

Dishwasher not draining or not cleaning

Usually a clogged filter, a drain pump, or a blocked spray arm.

Ice maker stopped making ice

Usually a frozen water line or a failed inlet valve.

Freezer frosting over

Usually a worn door seal or the defrost system.

Fridge making a loud humming or rattling noise

Usually a fan motor — the evaporator fan inside or the condenser fan underneath.

In your business

Walk-in cooler not holding temperature

Usually an evaporator fan, a door gasket, or low refrigerant. Every hour matters — call early.

Commercial ice machine not making ice

Usually scale buildup, a water inlet valve, or a harvest problem.

Range burner won't light

Usually a clogged burner or a failed igniter.

Commercial dishwasher not heating

Usually a heating element or a thermostat.

Not sure what’s wrong? That’s fine.

Just describe what you’re seeing and hearing. Working it out is what the first two minutes of our call are for.

Homes and businesses

A quick fix for your home. An urgent one for your business.

For your home

When one appliance breaks, the whole house feels it.

Fridge, washer, oven, dishwasher — we make the repair simple and predictable, from the first call to the finished job.

  • Answered at any hour, in plain language
  • Pricing you approve before anyone comes out
  • Fixed on the first visit

For your business

When the walk-in fails, every hour costs money.

Restaurants, cafés, clinics, laundromats — when commercial equipment goes down, so does revenue. We treat it like the emergency it is.

  • Treated as the emergency it is
  • Faster response when downtime costs money
  • Walk-in coolers, ice machines, commercial ranges, dishwashers, and more

A note from our founders

A broken fridge at 9 p.m. isn’t a “ticket.”

It’s dinner you can’t cook and food you’re about to lose — and then a week of waiting, a four-hour window nobody keeps, and a bill you didn’t see coming.

We’re building FixAIro because getting an appliance repaired should be simple. You call, we answer, we tell you what’s likely wrong and what it costs, and we send a technician to fix it — the first time. No hold music. No guessing. No surprises.

We’re just getting started, and we want to earn your trust one honest repair at a time.

Questions

Straight answers, before you spend a dollar.

The things people ask us first. If yours isn't here, call.

What does FixAIro do?

We repair home appliances and commercial kitchen equipment: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, microwaves, walk-in coolers, ice machines, and more. You call, we work out the likely problem over the phone, give you clear pricing, and send a technician to fix it.

How much does appliance repair cost?

There is a service call fee for a technician to come out and confirm the problem — and it is waived if you go ahead with the repair. Before the visit, we give you a labor range for the repair. Parts are priced separately. You approve the final price before any work starts, and nothing is added at the door.

Should I repair it or replace it?

We answer that honestly. We weigh the age of the appliance, the likely problem, and the cost to fix it against the price of a new one — and we tell you when replacing is the smarter choice, even though it means we do not get the job.

How fast can a technician come?

Usually the same day or the next. When you call, we check which technicians are free and offer you real times you can pick from — not a four-hour window.

Which brands do you repair?

All major brands, including Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Bosch, KitchenAid, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Kenmore, Sub-Zero, Viking, and Miele, plus commercial brands like True, Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Vulcan, and Hobart.

Do you repair commercial kitchen equipment?

Yes. Walk-in coolers, reach-in refrigerators, ice machines, commercial ranges and ovens, and commercial dishwashers — for restaurants, cafés, clinics, laundromats, and other businesses where downtime costs money.

How does the AI help with my repair?

It answers the moment you call, asks the right questions, works out the likely problem from your appliance's brand and model, explains the pricing, and books a technician — all in one call. A real technician does the repair.
